Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

At Akua, we want you to shop with confidence. This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel an order, subscription, pre-order, or try-before-you-buy purchase, and what to expect when you do. It supplements our Terms of Service and Refund Policy. Where this policy is more generous than other policies, this policy applies.

Our Commitment

We believe cancelling should be as easy as ordering. You will never be charged a cancellation fee, and we will always confirm your cancellation in writing by email.

Standard Orders

You may cancel a standard (one-time) order free of charge at any time before it ships. To cancel, email us at contact@tryakua.com with your order number, or call +1 216-270-1746. If your order has not yet shipped, we will cancel it and issue a full refund to your original payment method.

If your order has already shipped by the time we receive your request, we are unable to stop the delivery, but you can return it under our 30-day Refund Policy at https://tryakua.com/policies/refund-policy for a refund once the item is received back in its original condition.

Subscriptions

If you purchase a product on a subscription basis, the price, billing frequency, and renewal terms will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the interval you selected, and your payment method is charged at the start of each billing cycle. We will send you a reminder email before each renewal.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. You can cancel by:

1. Logging into your account at tryakua.com and selecting "Manage Subscription", or
2. Emailing us at contact@tryakua.com, or
3. Calling us at +1 216-270-1746.

Cancellation requests received before your next billing date will stop all future charges. If a renewal charge is processed on the same day as your cancellation request, contact us and we will refund that charge in full, provided the renewal order has not yet shipped. Any order already shipped will be fulfilled, and you may return it under our Refund Policy.

Pre-Orders

You may cancel a pre-order at any time before the item ships, for any reason, by contacting us at contact@tryakua.com with your order number. You will receive a full refund of any amount paid, including any deposit, to your original payment method. If the expected availability date of a pre-ordered item changes, we will notify you by email and give you the option to cancel for a full refund.

Try Before You Buy

If you purchase an item under a try-before-you-buy option, you may cancel free of charge at any time before the item ships. Once shipped, the trial period stated at checkout applies. We will send you a reminder before the trial period ends. If you keep the item past the trial period, your payment method will be charged the full purchase price shown at checkout. To return the item during the trial period at no cost to you beyond return shipping, contact us at contact@tryakua.com for a prepaid return label and instructions.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method. We process refunds within 2 business days of approval; depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement. We will email you confirmation when your refund has been issued.

European Union and United Kingdom Customers

If your order is shipped to the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items, for any reason and without justification, in addition to the rights described above.
